The Journey Continues

From legacy to transformation

Health is the foundation of every thriving society. It is reflected not only in hospitals and clinics, but in every mother who receives quality antenatal care, every child immunised, every emergency responded to in time, every patient who accesses affordable healthcare, every health worker empowered to serve with excellence, and every innovation that makes quality care more accessible to all.

Over the years, Lagos State has deliberately built one of Nigeria's most dynamic and resilient health systems through sustained investments in infrastructure, human capital, healthcare financing, regulation, emergency preparedness and institutional reforms. The inaugural Eko Health Convention in 2025 celebrated this remarkable journey, honouring the leaders, professionals and partners whose collective efforts laid the foundations of today's health system.

The Eko Health Convention 2026 moves the conversation from legacy to transformation. It focuses on how Lagos is connecting people to quality healthcare through innovation, collaboration and excellence in service delivery. It provides a platform to showcase the progress made under the Babajide Sanwo-Olu administration while exploring the next frontier in healthcare delivery through digital innovation, strategic partnerships and people-centred care.

Bigger Ideas Stronger Partnerships Greater Impact
Following a remarkable debut in 2025

The conversation continues. The impact expands.

The Eko Health Convention is Lagos State's flagship health summit, bringing together policymakers, healthcare professionals, researchers, development partners, investors, innovators, academia, private sector organisations and community stakeholders to shape the future of healthcare in Lagos.

The 2026 edition will highlight how technology, collaboration and strengthened health systems are improving access to quality healthcare while creating opportunities for innovation, investment and sustainable partnerships.

  • Knowledge exchange across the public and private health sector.
  • Policy dialogue that shapes implementation, not just intention.
  • Strategic collaboration between government, partners and investors.
  • Celebration of excellence across the health sector.
